Final Conversation between “a Father and a Son”.

In a bright morning, Sun was about to shower its rays when a “Boy” was born in a family of well reputed ‘Doctors”. All were happy to see the new “Life” in the family. Time passed like a speed of light, the boy was full of energy, best in every field. A top ranker in academics, one of the best in rugby, confident speaker and a lovable son.

He decided to give an “Army Exam” and wanted to serve his Nation. Without the knowledge of his parents he cleared the exam and asked his parents to allow him to join Army Services. His parents allowed him to live his dreams. Years passed, he used to come at home once or twice at maximum to visit home.

At the age of 24, he came back to home on a leave of 30 days. All were happy and enjoying each and every bit of his presence.

Here rang a phone, the father lifted the call and passed the phone to Son. Room was alone with father and son. Complete silence and the last conversation of a father and a son started.

Boy said in confident voice, dad I have to go to the base camp tomorrow morning. Out of nowhere the heart of a father said “please don’t go” stay with us as we are getting older and getting very much worried about you. We can’t afford to lose you as you are the only hope for us. The boy replied “dad you are wearing a White dress to save patients, this is your duty and you are serving it with full grace since ages. In similar way I have my duties for my dress which I wore years back. My duties are to save my nation till my last breath and I have to do that at any cost”. The conversation went on and on before father said “If you want to go then go, but you have to promise me that you will come back and we will have a rugby match together”. The Son instantly said “Off course Dad” I will come back and will defeat you again.

In the early morning the boy left to serve his nation with his duties. After 5 days again phone rang and the saddest news arrived “Major has been martyrdom”. Father stood in shock and was not believe what he heard. Mother came out and took the phone and heard the same words. Silence!!!... The only light of their home is off forever.

It’s been years now and the father is having anger just anger on his mouth, my son was a liar. He promised me to come back and he did not keep his words. He is still in hope for his son’s return…
This is what “Army Men” sacrifices. Their life, their hopes, their home, their relations, their parents and their dreams.

This is a true story of an Indian Army Man. This is the price of wars and distractions!... Think about this father who is still waiting for his son's arrival.

Stop fighting please, spread the lesson of peace. Every one will suffer because of wars and fights!...
