Missile Man: Late Sh. A.P.J Abdul Kalam: "Padam Bhushan, Padam Vibhushan, Bharat Ratan!"

“We are all born with a divine fire in us, our efforts should be to give wings to this fire” - Late Sh. A.P.J Abdul Kalam - "Padam Bhushan, Padam Vibhushan, Bharat Ratan!"

What else would be the best way to end an year with the autobiography of a great soul Dr./Scientist late Sh. Adbul Kalam Sir. Finally little library of my knowledge is studded with the words and lessons of this great unique personality, India (our nation) have ever produced. Dr. Adbul Kalam is a statue of simplicity, knowledge, civility, altruistic, love and respect – A true Scientist who gave everything he has for his nation and its welfare.

Born and brought up in a very poor family, lifted himself up in education with his hardwork and dedication, completed Aeronautical Engineering from Bangalore and converted his dreams into reality by producing N no. of missiles, satellites which can fly like a bird in an open sky and in fact way beyond the sky.

Served ISRO for almost 2 decades, made every Indian proud with his inventions (ex: SLV-3, first Indian satellite Launch Vehicle) and work in Satellite Technology and that too in the era when the information was less readily available with limited resources. Amongst few Indian who have been nominated to take space research training from NASA, still always stayed rooted to ground.

With the knowledge and leadership qualities this great personality possessed, was requested to make a move in DRDO and make Indian Forces a great power in the world with rocketry and space technology. The move was challenging and tough, but the success stories are well written with Golden words in world’s history today – Prithiv, Agni, Nag, Trishul, PSLV (Polar Satelite Launch Vehicle), Pokhran-2 tests etc are some of the achievements which makes every Indian Proud. We are in amongst top 5 nations to achieve these success stairs because of people like Dr. Abdul Sir, who gave their everything for the success stories they have created from the path of big failures but never gave up for the next generation to treat them as a benchmark.

A great leader who always lead his team with perfect balance of hands-on and hands-off approach which he himself have described in the book. I remember some of the beautiful quotes “bread baked without love is a bitter bread, that feeds but half a man's hunger. In a similar way the work done by half heart is just a half work done.” You can’t achieve success until you dream it and burn yourself completely to achieve it with full heart.

The last few lines which took anyone’s heart away are:

“This story will end with me, for I have no inheritance in the worldly sense. I have acquired nothing, built nothing, possess nothing - no family, sons or daughters.” I am just a person who knows little bit of Space Technology.

You will remain in our heart forever Sir!. Thank You for your contribution to the success of India in Space/Satellite and Rocketry Engineering.

Gone are the days!!...

Gone are the days…

When the light was bright and the days were great.
When the eyes were up and the shoulders were straight.
When I have done the things which no one have tried.
Gone are the days…when I climbed those heights!!!...

When the time was more and the tasks were less.
When the food was more and the hunger was less.
When I have travelled the miles where no one have stared.
Gone are the days…when I feel those layers!!!...

When the stars were more and the night was less.
When the moon was full and the clouds were less.
When I have dreamed the world which no one have felt.
Gone are the days…where I have spent my best!!!...

Gone are the days…and they are just gone!!...

A voice from Soul: Soul Mate

It’s a cold foggy morning, sun light is not yet visible, silence is still all around. A question popped up, Is this the last day of togetherness!...A susurrate, very susurrate but hollering voice of heart came out “No it can’t be!...How it can be, No It can’t be”…Few seconds passed with vicious feeling before an image of “her” appeared. Same question shouted by her “Is this the last day of togetherness!...”. This time the response didn’t come from heart. Heart was just doing its duty and stood silent link like the most darkest phase of a night. The question went deep inside way beyond the reach of heart, straight to the supreme power, to the last resort of God, to the immortal substance called “Spirit or Soul”.

Surprised or shocked, high or low, happy or sad, up or down, don’t know!

But a voice which was never heard before, very soft, gentle, dulcet like a mellisonant tones appeared from the extreme immortal soul stating “No, the bonding, the love, the attachment, the feeling, the care, the warmth – is inseparable and in-discrete. This body is just the medium but the house is our Soul. How can someone be thrown out of the House of the Soul. No it can’t be!...How it can be, No It can’t be”…

Silence…eyes full of tears, body shivering, voice disappeared. Is this Love?... Free from material world, free from the race of any competition, pure, never ending, rich…. All of a sudden, Image again appeared of “her”. This time it’s my turn to respond. Yes I love you, but not from the body but from the soul – inseparable and in-discrete. For you it may be the last day, but for me it’s always have been the first day!...Shoulders are up, shoulders are down. Image came closer more closer, I can feel the air gap between the image and me. With very slow but confident voice she said “I know, I know No one can love me like that, I know you are the one who is true soul mate, I would like to say not even once but for the lifetime I Love you too”. The last words I have ever heard!...

Imaginations or experience, Love or True Love…Sun light appeared, silent turned into noise. But the heart is happy and saying finally I met her!..."I want you, just you, Nothing else"..

This is the experience you feel when you meet people with no expectations. Those people will stay in your heart and in your soul forever!..Isn’t it hard to find such people, I think yes it’s really hard?.. A question for all. Don’t let such people move out from your life. Keep them preserved!... "Die with Memories, not Dreams".

The best phase of a Human Life.

Life is like a clock, what so ever you achieve you can’t get hold of this running clock. Life phases are divided into 4 quarters. If you are lucky enough you can live and experience all of them. In the technical revolution the life has become more mechanical, full of pressure and greed with lot of competition which have finally shortened the life. What are these phases of life?...Are we all living them?..
  • Childhood (Birth to 20 years): (No responsibility, full of joy, surrounded by loved ones, full of memories...long lasting memories)
  • Adulthood (20 to 30 years): (Responsibility begins, Career, Job, Dream of lavish lifestyle)
  • Marriage Life (30 to 55 years): (Responsibilities at peak, more pressure, kids future, No dreams for yourself, various deceases)
  • Oldage (55 till destiny): (You are responsibility for others, again a Kid but without loved ones)
“What is the most expensive bed on this earth”, the answer is very simple but you have to be genius to understand it: it’s called ‘Sick Bed’. When you ask any human being who is on sick bed about the most beautiful phase of his life he have lived so far, the answer definitely would always be “childhood”. And yes indeed its very true!... Childhood is the most beautiful phase of a Human Life cycle where you have No responsibilities, No greed, Loved ones around you, No pressure, No targets, No living/non-living goals, No selfishness, you just behave like a Pure Soul.

A plastic car toy is more expensive than the most expensive cars present on the earth, A house made of Sand is more beautiful than the most expensive bungalows, A bite of ice-cream is more sweeter than the 1000’s dishes of any 7star hotel, the streets are the best play grounds than the biggest stadiums, the friends are the most priceless people than the business partners, that is what the childhood is all about, long lasting memories which can't be wiped of. You have parents, siblings, friends, cousins, relatives all around you to take care. It’s the most awesome time one can ever live but won’t understand until we all are kids.

Once childhood is gone the race begins, adulthood - the most enthusiastic time where responsibilities starts, race of good career, job, money infact the race of greed starts and time flies like anything.

Here comes the next phase Marriage Life, you are completely responsible for everything for you and your loved once and for society too sometimes. The most busy phase of your life. Full of pressure, work, dreams of your kids, their upbringings infact nothing left for individual "you" apart from little time for yourself if you are really capable to managing your time very well. This phase will also fly like a single day and you always think where the hell time goes.

There is a well know fact about the Time: “Time become relative (relativity theory) with age”, time is very slow when you are kid, it picks up the pace in your childhood and is in full swing in the last two phases of life.

The most horrible stage of Life is Oldage, when you considered as liability on others (those others include your kids also who treat you like a load now, real fact of life. Harsh but true). You again become a kid at this phase but not surrounded with people. This is the most lonely and dangerous phase of a life. The most priceless experiences of life can be learned by people who are in this phase of life. Whatever we will do, what so ever we will achieve in life, how much wealthy we may become we cannot control the clock of Life.

The only way is to keep the life simple and follow your dreams, earn respect. Either you drive in Maruti or BMW the roads and the destinations will remain the same. Time will remain the same either you have a Titan or a Rolex watch in your hands. Don't let your "Need" becomes your "Greed".

A story from Death to Life: Kalpana Saroj (Must Read)

“Hard work is not overrated. It is fail proof. What you want- whatever it is- you shall get if you apply yourself wholeheartedly and work towards it with a single minded vision.”

Who says you can’t, who says you won’t, who says you will never – this real story is a big slap to them. You can, you will and you will ever have the potential, caliber, desire, burning fire, faith, grit, power to convert any No to a "Big Yes".

This real life story of Kalpana Saroj kicks you up with the propellant to fly like a space shuttle and achieve something bigger which no one can ever dream off. A Dalit (lower caste as we say in India) by birth, born in very poor family with 3 sisters and 2 brothers and only one earner “Father” that too with very low income. Being Dalit she is always treated like a slave and was having no friends apart from siblings. As Dalit, always prevented to sit with students in school or participated in any extracurricular activities. Shame isn’t it, Big Shame?... Discrimination is part of Kalpana’s life in childhood.

The dreams were completely broken when she was forced to get married when she was just 12 years old, school was just a distant memory by now. After marriage she was treated like an animal. She was beaten up every single day but was having no option. One day her father came to meet her and he took her with him back home after looking her in the worst of conditions.

But don’t forget if you are in India, people are more concerned and focused about your stuff instead of their own business. The taunts of people were killing Kalpana like a snake bite and she decided to suicide. She consumed Poison and referred to near by hospital in critical situation.
Here the new world is waiting for her, she was saved after 24 hours and now she thought there might be a reason for her 2nd life. She decide to do something extraordinary and she did that by her hard work and will power. She moved to Mumbai alone and started to swing clothes (10 Rs/- single cloth). Her family conditions were getting worst, father lost his job, this little genius didn’t give up. She took her family to Mumbai and started work more dedicatedly that too 16 hours per day. Still not enough money to fulfill 3 time meal. Her youngest sister got sick and lost her life due to lack of money to even take her to the hospital. In Kalpana’s word “her eyes were saying me “didi” save me, I don’t want to die”. That day Kalpana learnt a lesson “Money is an important part of life, no one can survive without money.” This became her mission of Life.

She got involved in work like a water in the river, she took a Loan of 50000/- Rs and started her own stitching business. She was getting success, expanded her work. It took time as all great things comes with patience and time, and that patience and time can be felt by a men/women who is actually going through it. With her continuous hard work and dedication one day she got a deal for litigation land which she accepted and fought 2 years of long custody battle to get it free. Here fall's the money now and life got changed. She was flying high and high, running one NGO with very good reputation. A zero from birth is a hero now with her own efforts and never die attitude on her own terms of life.

But the biggest miracle happened when the labor of Kamani Tubes (http://kamanitubes.com/about.htm) approached her to save the sinking boat of Kamani Tubes. It’s the biggest challenge which can save the lives of 100’s of workers. She accepted the challenge and started work on this direction. With 116 crores of loan on Kamani Tubes, its not a cake walk for anyone. She went to bank owners many a times, many strategies made and failed many a times with no luck. A light of shine finally came when she met finance minister of India and showed him the real picture and concerns about the people who will be losing their jobs. With long discussions and work, the interests were waved off and 25% reduction on the principle amount was also given. The work finally started and you wont believe the whole amount of loan was cleared in just 1 year. At present Kamani Tubes is one of the most renowned brands and The Queen Kalpana Saroj is named with the Brands like Tata, Reliance, Jindal.

                                                          Padma Shri Award

Isn't this a reversal, a journey from Death to Life. These are the real heroes. A human can break any mountain with his will power, determination, hard work. Thought the road is not going to be easy, you will fall 1000’s of times but the real hero will get up and start again. You don’t need MBA, Engineering degrees to prove yourself, you need the burning fire inside you to keep moving you in the direction of your dreams. Think of moon to land up into stars!...

It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!.

It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!.
My eyes are open and I can see the rainy sky
Water is drizzling and I can feel you by my side
It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!.

We are sitting on a cliff with a silence in our mind
With a deep breath I looked into your eyes
Dark, quiet,  as they trying to say some lines
It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!.

She is holding my hands and the grip is not tight
Her Lips are dry, face is dull, body is tired and the smile is Null
Ohh my angelll… I cant see you cry!
It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!.

Here are the words which are grooming in my mind
“Don’t say this…Don’t say this…Don’t say this…Don’t say this…Don’t say it’s a last time”
“I love you my angelll…and I really love you my angelll…is all what my heart is shouting…”
And her Silence is no more when the words comes on...
“I have to go and I have to go…I am sorry as I have to go…”
It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!.

Hands are separated, grip is no more, cliff is alone, heart is broken and my angelll is gone
Day is gone, Sun is gone, Rain is gone leaving the Tears alone.
“Is she gone, Is she gone…it’s hard to believe that Yes! She is gone”…
Still for me… It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!..

I lit a cigarette with a burden in my mind
The smoke of a cigarette makes an image of my life
It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!.

I can see the moon, I can see the clear sky
I will be a diamond (star) to see you my life
My life is my angelll and my angelll is my life
It’s not a day yet it’s not a night!!...

"The Black and The White!"

“I am Proud to be an Indian” and I love my country from the bottom of my heart as it gave me everything Good family, Caring parents, Furnished education, Home/Food, Good Job and settled life, what else a human can expect!.. Sometimes a question comes in my mind, what have I done for My Mother Land, My Country…and the answer I get from the inner “Me” is “Nothing”!... though I have an inner peace that at least I tried few things sometimes and I am sure I will keep trying unless I get a success. Here in I would like to highlight some serious issues about “The White and The Black” which need immediate attention.

There is a well-known saying in India “God save me from the White and The Black coats”. Who are these white and black coats?...

The White coat, who are treated as God on earth who are born to give/save life’s and are called “Doctors”. India is amongst top countries in producing high level, well-educated doctors. But are they doing their duties faithfully, Are they really saving life’s of needed sufferers, Are they really acting as a “God”…? It will be an injustice to mark an agreement on this. Doctors are become greedy, money minded, careless, inhuman in their duties. They just need money for each and every thing, they are ready to put a dead body on ventilator and declared it dead after few hours just for the sake of money. How can a human be so heartless that he even don’t see the feelings, emotions and pain behind the bars. Shame on such doctors who in my dictionary are the poorest, uneducated animals. I am sure if things won’t improve then the Poor people will prefer to die on roads instead of going to the Life Protectors called Doctors. The question is what needs to be done to stop this?...Do you have any answers?...Do you think you can make a difference?...Do you…

Now comes the second class of people “The Black Coat” so called “Lawyers”. The most trusted people for any country in legal concerns and are also called “Back Bone of constitution”. Are they really trustworthy?...Are they obeying the Laws?...Are they loyal to their duties?...It don’t require any explanations. For the sake of money, Lawyers start fighting a case for one generation and believe me it will continue till 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th generations that too with no results. It’s a common task to convert truth to lie and vice versa, all it need is money in your pocket.  No one knows what’s going on or pretend to keep their eyes closed as they are also the part of the same system. The question remains the same: what needs to be done to stop this?...Do you have any answers?...Do you think you can make a difference?...Do you…

No country is bad in fact no place on this earth is bad, these are the people who makes and breaks the country and its reputation. Be responsible, humble, caring, if you want to earn something  then earn respect, blessings. Believe me it will give you infinite peace which money won’t give you at any stage of life.

Always remember: “The amount of money in your bank account when you die is the extra amount of work and cheating you have done with yourself”

PS: This post is not to hurt the feelings of anyone, its just to raise some serious concerns which need immediate attention for the betterment of the Nation.! Jai Hind!.

The Journey Home: Autobiography of an American Swami (Radhanath Swami)

I am fond of Autobiographies. It reveals worst of the times a person have gone through, the struggles behind every success. No one ever have climbed the ladder without failures but their never die attitude takes them to a place where they become “Successful Personalities”. I have read about the struggles of “Sachin Tendulkar, Andrew Agassi, Pop King MJ, Usain Bolt, The Great Charles Chaplin, Richard Branson and many more” and believe me I learned a lot from them.

The Journey Home: Autobiography of an American Swami (so called Radhanath Swami), this book came in front of my eyes many a times but It’s still a mystery why I ignored it every single time. One fine day I was reading some reviews on books and found this book a must read. I ordered this book instantly and Yes!...This is a life changing book, I must agree!.

Struggle is the most respected teacher, time is the most prestigious class and Life is the most beautiful school on this universe. This can’t be explained anywhere, one have to learn this through experiences of life and maturity (though we always remain kid from inside :-p).

This book explains the zeal of an American to get connected to the extreme power. And to get connected to that extreme power he have gone through the struggles which no one can even think of. Without money he started his journey in search of peace, he didn’t have any clue where he have to go, what he have to do. He just believed in himself and to the supreme power which showed the way to this great swami every time. He met different people across the globe during his journey to India From US to UK to France to Iraq to Afghanistan to Pakistan to India. Different people, different cultures, different religions, everything is different but one thing which is common is the Supreme Power. Where ever we go the sky will remain same, the wind will remain same, the SUN will remain same, the water will remain same, the Moon will remain same, it’s the human being who separated the world into borders, God have created the earth to attain peace not pace.

This book will ignite the spiritual thirst of your “inner you”. I got to know the miracles of India which I was still not aware of. We are really lucky to have India “The land of Miracles” our birth country. Meditation is the only way to attain peace and to attain meditation one should require years of dedication and spiritual thirst. I will again say this book gives you some hidden answers to some of the secret questions which everybody is searching in his/her mind since ages.

Life’s Greatest Battle!.

Today, while traveling to office my mind was governed with one strange but very meaningful question “what is the life’s greatest battle and with whom”.

I closed my eyes and relived my past starting from childhood. I saw the fights with my siblings – nah that was just a moment of anger not fight. I saw me fighting with my parents for my choices and demands – no that was just the materialistic desires. I saw me fighting with my classmates, teachers, friends, managers, colleagues, unknown-people etc etc – that too was just a demonstration of immaturity and cannot be termed as “battle”.

I went deep into the thoughts, what would be that, whom I am fighting with since birth. These questions were getting deeper and deeper until I heard a very loud sound shouting “You, Yourself!!.. is fighting the biggest battle with yourself. Everyone is fighting with themselves but falsely pretending themselves about the outer world enemies”. It seems these words came directly from my soul.
I compared these internal fights with other fights I had so far, Truly without surprises I realize, all other fights were temporary and have been demolished with time. The only fight which we keep continuing every day is the fight between “You vs Yourself”. We have to control our thoughts every day is a fight, we have to restrict our emotions/love/affection/care is again a greatest fight by you with yourself. You have to fight with such battles every day and you cannot escape.

These battles cannot be stopped but can be minimized. Trust, Patience, Meditation, Spirituality are the weapons which can be used against this greatest battle. Once we start winning against us, we will start climbing the ladder of peace. This will require ages or may be even more than that to win against yourself. Battles continues!!..

So rightly said:
“Some of the greatest battles will be fought within the silent chambers of your own soul.”
